Winters are in full swings. All of us are enjoying the special gift of winter, dry fruits. Another special gift of winter is carrot which is very beneficial for our health especially for eye sight. Now I am going to tell you some carrot recipes to enjoy this winter.

250 gm carrots, grated
6 cups milk
1 tsp cardamom powder
Slightly less than 1/2 cup rice ground
Almonds and pistachio, slivered
3/4 cup sugar
Silver warq

- Steam the carrots slightly. Boil the milk, then add the carrots and rice. Cook till the carrots and rice are tender. Add sugar and continue cooking till it is of a thick consistency. 
- Add saffron and cardamom powder. Remove from heat and pour into a glass-serving bowl. - Place the warq on top and sprinkle the slivered nuts.
