1-1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp salt
Method
Mix thoroughly sugar, butter and egg. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and stir in the mixture. Mix into a firm dough. Roll it 1/8 inch thick and cut with round cutter. Bake in the oven at 350 degree F until light brown. Cool and serve at tea.
