Ingredients
1 cup tomato paste
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cups olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp ginger, crushed
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 tbsp dried basil
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Method
Mix together the tomato paste, water and olive oil. Add garlic, ginger, salt, chilli powder, pepper, oregano and basil. Mix well and leave it for several hours to let the flavours blend. No cooking is necessary, just spread it on the dough.
