Mutton Fry

Mutton fry recipe is a dry kind of mutton recipe flavored with spices. Mutton fry has usually mutton, tomatoes, onion, red chili powder, other spices, lemon juice, and cream as ingredients. But as I said earlier, that ingredients vary from region to region. Mutton fry is very delicious recipe you can serve mutton fry with rice, chapati or bread.

Ingredients
     1 kg mutton meat (cut into small pieces)
     3 tomatoes
     1 cup yogurt
     1 tbsp red chili powder
     1 tsp turmeric powder
     1/2 tsp black pepper powder
     1 tsp gram masala powder(hot spices)
     1 tsp ginger paste
     1 tsp garlic paste
     1 small onion
     4 green chilies paste
     1/3 tsp cinnamon powder
     1/3 tsp cumin powder
     2 tsp lemon juice
     A pinch of mustard seeds
     Salt to taste
     2 tsp fresh cream
     1 cup oil

Method

Cook the meat with 2 cups of water, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and ginger garlic paste. Cook in 10-15 minutes on a low flame.

Heat oil in a pan, Add chopped onion and saute for 2-4 minutes. Now add chopped tomatoes, yogurt, black pepper powder, gram masala powder, Lemon juice, green chilies paste, cinnamon powder, cumin powder, mustard seeds, and cook until the oil starts to separate.

Add the grvy of the cook meat alone and heat until it starts to thicken. Add the cook meat, fresh cream and mix well. Continue to heat until it turns dry. Remove from heat and pour on a serving plate.

Serve hot with rice, chapati or bread.
