Caramel bananas


Ingredients
  100g butter
  1/3 cup brown sugar
  1 cup castor sugar
  1 cup thickened cream
  4 ripe bananas
  2 tbs water 

Method
1. Heat butter in a pan, add brown/castor sugar and water, stir over heat, without boiling, until the sugar is dissolved. 
2. Now stir in the cream and bring to boil. 
3. Then add the bananas. 
4. Leave to cool. 
5. Serve with cream or ice-cream if desired.
